Description/Facts:
Description: Gilderoy Lockhart is a very arrogant man, known for his
work with the Dark Arts, author of many books, Winner of
Witch Weekly’s Most Charming-Smile Award 5 times,
consecutively, Winner of Order of Merlin, Third Class, and many
other countless things – supposedly, at least. After being employed
at Hogwarts as a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, he thinks to
serve a constant reminder to all students that he is, after all, one
of the greatest wizard’s of his era. He found it interesting to try
to spread his “warmth” and “good personality” to others, resulting
in being considered one of the most annoying teachers, aside from
most female students at school. He makes many snide remarks,
although is oblivious to the fact that he’s doing so. Depending on
the perspective you’re seeing him from, you could call him a genius,
or simply an airhead. In truth, he seems to be skilled with
Charm-work, and tends to be – for the most part – a strategic
thinker. He seems to land himself in a spot of trouble, though,
while in the Chamber of Secrets with Harry and Ron. He is never left
without a quill (Peacock feather) and a stack of photographs with
his charming smile on them. He tends to dress in extravagant attire,
consisting of various colored robes and hats. As a younger child
(aged 12) he was referred to as ‘a nobody’. In actuality, he was a
fraud.
Words Used To Describe Him:

pretentious; weak-chinned (post CoS discussion); feeble (post CoS
discussion); handsome, fraud
Other: His Office/Living Arrangement:
polished desk; candles; walls plastered with pictures of himself;
chairs
