once upon a time, in a land far far away, i didn't have a full time job that required me to sit in an uncomfortable desk chair eight hours a day. once upon a time, in a land far far away, i had one hobby and not seventeen. (i knit, crochet, sew, paint, make jewelry, cook, hand screen print, and um, hi, i still do graphic and web design*.)
back then, i developed a lot of resources and i've always been happy to share them with anyone who is interested in asking. nowadays, most of what i create by way of resources will end up in one of two places - the gallery or the blog*. the rest gets caught up here. if you are looking for something (an image i've used, a font you've seen, etc...) and you would like a copy of it or to know where to find it, feel free to get in touch.

CheekyImages - aka, the image gallery
this image gallery isn't completely of my own creation, and it's not completely up to date. these days, violet is the only other major contributor and, while the gallery install is all fresh and the tagging system is new, the images are largely un-updated unless she is the one doing the updating so please, lets all remember where to throw our accolades, yes? for the most part, it looks the same as it always has but there are two major ways to find what you're looking for - you can browse, or you can search. if you are going to browse, it's fairly straight forward - choose your gender, choose whether you'd like a celebrity or an unknown model and, if it's an unknown model you're looking for, choose your hair color and have at it. if you're looking for a more expedient way to find things, it's better to opt for search.
i've tried to keep the tagging system uniform, you can search by gender, hair color, eye color, age range, etc... we've also added one other element to search and that is to directly include the "works as" tag where it's applicable. if you're in a real hurry, you can search "james potter" and see what other people (i.e., the results of my unofficial polls in the tda forums and mine/violet's unsolicited opinions) think might be options.
CheekyTutorials - aka, a litany of photoshop tutorials i've assembled over the years
i've written a lot of tutorials in my day.
not a lot, you know, recently but, once upon a time, i wrote a lot of them and they are all housed in my gallery. it's straight forward to use, read the titles or search the terms if there is something in particular you're looking to learn. as always, if there is a tutorial you wish you saw but don't, please feel free to get in touch and i'll try and put something together for you.

CheekyPrintables / Fizzles - invites, business cards, & wall hangings
in one of what i predict will be many times my personal life and my business life intertwine, for better or for worse, free fizzle arts printables will appear here, as well as on the fizzle arts blog. they are, as the name would imply, free for your personal use. if you don't want to do your own printing or if you're interested in having something custom designed, please feel free to drop me a line - i'm happy (okay, no, i'm thrilled) to do custom work for people be it simple design or hand screen printing.
